Photos Chantilly Tea Rose Tea at Gardens

Photos from our Mother's Day Rose Tea at Tucson Botanical Gardens. Tamara demonstrated sugared rose petals and rose scones, everyone had a chance to walk the grounds, and then a 3-course afternoon tea was served (the salmon mousse phylllo cups and the homemade rose lavender ice cream were especially enjoyed). We all had a lovely time! Our next events at The Botanical Gardens are a Fairy Tea June 30th and a Gourmet Iced Tea class July 14th. Information is currently...

Afternoon Tea in New Orleans

A few weeks ago, my tea adventures took me to New Orleans and the Mississippi River. I enjoyed afternoon tea on the Queen of the Mississippi Riverboat, at the Windsor Court Hotel, and at a charming confectioner's called Bittersweet in the Warehouse District. The Windsor Court hotel included your choice of a cocktail (alcoholic or non)...the Cajun Milk Punch was delicious!

Chantilly Tea: St. Patrick's Day

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY! Around St. Paddy's Day I always get in the mood for soda bread and Irish teas. Two of my favorites are Irish Whiskey Cream and Irish Breakfast. Irish Whiskey Cream is an Assam black tea with cocoa bits and is exceptionally smooth and flavorful. Chantilly Tea Truffle Demo

Truffle Demo at Table Talk Everyone enjoyed sampling a variety of truffles while they watched Tamara demonstrate "the art of truffles." Orange Chocolate, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, and Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake were some of the truffles created. A chocolate lover's delight!
