This beautiful Japanese sencha type tea is made from young leaves that are plucked every four days and then steamed, rolled, and pan-fired; a process which gives the tea its signature glossy sheen.   The resulting cup is exquisite, with beautiful layers of grassy, vegetal notes.  Rated as one of the world's greatest green teas.
