Strawberry Season: Chantilly Tests Recipes
Strawberry Season!
In honor of the delicious strawberry, I decided to test some strawberry recipes this past week. The first up was a Grilled Chicken with a Strawberry Salsa in which the strawberries were marinated in a balsamic vinaigrette and then combined with fresh chopped basil and crumbled feta cheese. The result was an outstanding combination of sweet and tart and paired well with grilled boneless chicken thighs. Next was a strawberry cobbler....everyone loved the light crust baked throughout the strawberry filling and when topped with whipped cream was a truly delicious dessert!
