One of Chantilly's loyal customers decided to go all out this holiday and recreate her own version of what used to be our tea room's Holiday Teas at her independent living facility.  Lorna, the hostess, contacted me for advice as she wanted everything to be authentic and special. She arranged to rent all of our vintage china (which another customer purchased and now rents out for events). She also rented linens for the tables, and even hired a harpist to play as we used to do for our holiday events.  Diana, the owner of Vintage Tea Essentials (find her on Facebook here), supplied all of the china, silverware, 3-parts, tiers, creamers and sugar bowls--which added an elegant touch. Lorna used Chantilly Lemon Curd for the event and gave me a tour of the ballroom where the tea was to be held when I stopped by to drop off the product.  I was very touched that a customer has such fond memories of enjoying afternoon teas at Chantilly that she wanted to pass on such an experience to friends.
