Chantilly Tea visits St. Luke's Home for a St. Patrick's Day Tea
St. Patrick's Day Tea at St. Luke's Home
Chantilly Tea visits St. Luke's Home to host an afternoon tea for St. Patrick's Day. We supplied the accoutrements, Celtic music and Irish loose-leaf teas. Melissa, their chef, provided the food and Nick, the activities director, had all the tables arranged and ready for us when we arrived to prepare everything in their chapel. After setting out the tiers of food, the teacups, teapots, sugar bowls, table decorations, heating the water, and steeping the tea, everyone sat down to enjoy the delicious treats and sip cups of Irish Breakfast, and everyone's favorite for the day, Irish Whiskey Cream black tea. Conversation and laughter rang throughout the chapel as the residents experienced the connective and relaxing atmosphere inspired by afternoon tea.
