1st Camp: June 18th-June 22nd 9-12pm OR
2nd Camp: July 16th-July 20th 9-12pm
Classes held at a private home in the Foothills.
This 5-day camp runs Monday through Friday and is geared for young chefs 9-12 years of age. In the 3-hr. drop off classes, these chefs-in-training will learn: to recognize and use tools and appliances in the kitchen, read recipes, practice kitchen safety, measuring, baking, cutting, chopping, folding, seasoning, presentation, table setting, basic table etiquette, and create crafts. Each child works in partnership with other students and solo to create delicious treats. The sessions will incorporate culinary skills into a theme connected to the creation of a full "Afternoon Tea" including tea sandwiches and savories, scones, and tea desserts. The camp ends with the students enjoying a full afternoon tea. Each day, everyone eats their creations. Each student receives an apron to use and then take home as their own, as well as a folder filled with all the handouts and recipes from the camp. Limited Class Size. $145.00 per session (25% discount for sibling) includes the classes, apron, crafts, handouts/recipes, and afternoon tea.
