Cooking with Matcha--Savory to Sweet (Hands-on Class)
Matcha is green tea on steroids...the perfect blend of health benefits and flavor. This tea has "unami" (delicious savory taste). From breakfast to dinner, from savory to sweet (even cocktails), this earthy vegetal tea gives an edge to food and adds depth of flavor. During this class, participants will cook using matcha with a selection of varied recipes; and learn how this bright green tea is a versatile pantry item. After the class, participants will enjoy a meal of the food they cooked with a matcha cocktail. $65/pp includes that class, handouts, and the meal.

Tea Pairing with Cheese & Chocolate
Think of a wine and cheese party with a twist...a tea twist. Tea is a gourmet beverage that pairs will with all types of food, so pairing tea with food is a gustatory adventure. In this class, we will explore pairing tea with a variety of cheeses and chocolates to find and create delicious flavor combinations. This journey will take us from complementary to contrasting flavors as we seek to tease out subtle undertones, balance salty and sweet, and meld or highlight flavors. Food will be served (along with the cheese & chocolate) throughout the class. $65/pp includes the class, handouts, and food. Wine will also be served.

Irish Tea "Chantilly Goes Celtic"
Celebrate Shamrock Season and get a taste of Ireland (this class is a tasty preview to our Chantilly sponsored trip to Ireland June 2019). A blend of traditional Irish fare like Corned Beef and Colcannon Potatoes (with a tea twist) to more contemporary treats like Irish Cream Cheesecake and Almond Caraway Cakes. Tamara will be demonstrating several recipes and then participants will enjoy an Irish themed 3-course afternoon tea with wine. $65/pp includes the class, handouts, and the afternoon tea.
